Bible Explorers

Sunday Morning Children's Programme

On Sunday mornings, there are programmes for children of all ages. Families all attend the start of the service together in the auditorium. Then after a time of family worship and singing, the children will be released to go upstairs. Bible Explorers is our Sunday School programme for children aged 4-10 years

Sunday Morning Preschool Programme

The supervised Crèche is available for children 1-3 years old. The programme includes Bible stories, songs and activities. Children are released to go upstairs after a time of singing and family worship in the main service.

For children aged 0-11 months, there is a Mother’s Room next to the main fellowship hall with a live feed of the service.

For Parents & Toddlers

PopTots includes a time of music and movements to children’s songs, a story time, a parenting tip, and a great morning tea together. Come along and enjoy friendship with other families in our community. Join our Facebook Page for updates on what’s happening. Any questions please contact poptots@fpbc.org.nz

School Holiday Programme

For School Kids

These programmes run for one week of the school holidays in April, July, October and January. (Usually the second week). Children attend daily from 9am-3pm and need to bring their own lunches.

The week will include music, Bible stories, games, memory verses, quizzes and team challenges. There are also age based crafts and lots of outdoor activities and games. We are fortunate to have our own grassed area adjacent to the church premises as well as easy access to Murray Linton Park and the Redwood forest.

The labour for these programmes is all voluntary, but we do request a registration donation to cover the costs of the materials and resources we provide for each programme. Due to the increasing popularity of the programmes the numbers attending have had to be limited and registrations are accepted on a first-in, first-served basis. Preference is always given to children who register to attend for the full week as the teams, teaching and craft programme are all planned on a weekly basis.

If you are interested in your child attending, please email us and let us know. We will then put your name on the list to let you know as soon as registrations open for each programme.
